NXT Superstar Eddy Thorpe has confirmed his relationship with Dakota Kai through social media. Following his 34th birthday, Thorpe shared several Instagram photos, including one that showed him and Kai in an intimate setting.
Thorpe’s response to a comment suggesting he should “unhand her” made their relationship status even more clear. He simply replied, “No can do.” This revelation has surprised many in the WWE Universe, as Kai had not previously publicly acknowledged her relationship with Thorpe.
When it comes to her professional career, Kai is currently putting together some of the best work of her career. She’s been a consistent performer for the company, even if she’s not always been the focal point of a women’s storyline.
Ever since her return to WWE in 2022, Kai has been a featured member of the WWE roster as a member of Damage CTRL. During that time she’s won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships twice with Iyo Sky, but she’s yet to hold singles gold.
However, the 36-year-old did recently get emotional during one of her streams about her lack of singles opportunities. Kai cried when discussing the situation, showcasing her passion and desire to do more and prove herself. She’s made it clear that while she hasn’t had a singles match on a premium live event yet, that’s something she’s working towards.
